Prior to being a photographer, I was actually spending 8 hours a day in a classroom. Usually with 24 preschoolers, so family sessions are something special to me. Connecting with kids and seeing smiles across their face, is one thing that brings me pure joy. So if you are worried about your kiddo coming, and not wanting to sit still- or smile, or pose; Have no fear (Im sure they have nothing on the 24 preschoolers I was dealing with) I love to capture kids, being themselves. Having fun.

-OPTION TO BREAK THIS SESSION UP. Family can't handle two hours but maybe they can do 90 minutes? You can use that 30 minutes for a different session- headshots, portraits, maternity pictures- you name it!

What if on the date of my session, my kid will not cooperate at all?
Even when we think we aren't getting and good shots, theres a chance ive still got a few covered. But in the case that you feel your kiddo would not cooperate at all- we can wrap up early and reschedule. If we have more than half the session done prior to your decision, the second session may be short- but I will make sure you get the photos you want!
Can extended family join?
I love big families, and small! Everyone is welcome to join, but please note that families over 5 people will either have an additional subject charge- or bigger families I encourage you to check out my extended family session option.
How can we make the shoot more "our own"?
If you're wanting a unique photoshoot with your family, I love to encourage a more lifestyle geared shoot- whether in your home or in studio, choose an activity your family LOVES to do together and do it! Let me capture all those special moments! Props are another great way to customize looks of photos too, wether it be a blanket, or a book im sure we can incorporate your families ideas!
